1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our Commercial Support Desk

The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues. You’ll resolve tickets quickly and professionally across Microsoft 365, Windows desktops, networking, and basic systems administration. You’ll work within SLA targets and escalate complex issues where needed. The role is varied, fast-paced, and client-facing, with opportunities for training, certification, and progression into more senior roles.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver first-line support via phone, email, remote tools, and in person
  • Log and triage tickets in our PSA system
  • Install, support and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Support Microsoft 365 and basic Active Directory tasks
  • Escalate complex issues to 2nd/3rd line teams with full documentation
  • Adhere to SLAs and escalate appropriately to avoid SLA breaches
  • Maintain asset and configuration records
  • Visit client sites as required (within London and surrounding areas)
  • Follow internal processes and contribute to a team that supports over 3,500 users
